Yes I'm retired, my last day of work. Wow that was quick ... Got the call and met Jeff at 4 and headed out of Raleigh for parts unknown and new adventures to be discovered. It was great to finally be on the road!!! All the planning and preparation was finally done.

Exit 123 on 52 was our goal to meet Joe who was coming up from Salisbury. Got gas and sustenance at Wendy's and the trip has finally begun. Little did we know that we would spend the first night at the Royal Inn in Marion. Sitting on the porch in front of our room #16 with snacks and liquid refreshment ... life is good! Got an internet connection and posting a blog. What a wonderful world. Doesn't get any better than this. Tommorrow, Terre Haute ...
